The pandemic and the economic crisis: A global agenda for urgent action
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
The High-level Commission on Global Economic Transformation at the Institute for New Economic Thinking (NYC) focuses on actions that need to be taken immediately to bring the pandemic under control and ensure a prompt and robust economic recovery. The Commission argues that a series of actions could be taken today by developed countries, at low cost to themselves and in their enlightened self-interest, which would benefit billions of people in the developing world enormously.
