Yao Ling, Director and Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of European and Eurasian Studies of CAITEC, affiliated to the Ministry of Commerce of China, mainly engages on research of economic and trade relationship between China and the EU. Ms. Yao has followed up the development course of the economic and trade cooperation between China and the EU and its member states since she joined CAITEC. She has published such monographs as Trend of Euro-Zone Sovereign Debt Crisis and China’s Investment Strategy on the EU, and is the main contributor to the book Linking Two Ends of the Silk Road: China-EU Free Trade Area Construction, which was published in April 2018. Her article Chinese Investment into EU under the Euro-Zone Sovereign Debt Crisis won the award in the “Solicitation of Articles on China’s Foreign Trade Development and Reform”. She has also published articles concerning China-EU economy and trade, such as Flexibly Push Forward Negotiation on China-EU Investment Agreement, Factors of Investment Constraints on China’s Investment into EU, A Study of the EU’s Trade Restrictions on China and Countermeasures, and Win-Win Cooperation: Review on China-EU Photovoltaic disputes.
