Roberto Cortinovis is a Researcher in the Justice and Home Affairs Unit at CEPS.
Prior to joining CEPS, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the department of Political Science at the Catholic University of Milan. He obtained a PhD from the Catholic University of Milan in 2014 with a dissertation on the external dimension of EU migration policy. Roberto also holds an MSc in Government and Politics in the European Union from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
His research interests are migration and asylum policies, with a specific focus on EU external action in those areas. He has published several academic and policy-oriented contributions on these topics.
