Dr Anna Śledzińska-Simon is the Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Wrocław, Department of Law, Administration and Economy. She holds a S.J.D. and LL.M. in Comparative Constitutional Law from the Central European University. She has received visiting fellowships at the Melbourne University Law School, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the New York University School of Law, the European University Institute, the Columbia University School of Law and the Max-Planck Institute for Comparative Public and International Law. She has extensive experience of working as a human rights expert with the Fundamental Rights Agency, the Polish Ombudsman, and a number of international and domestic NGOs. Her teaching and research cover comparative constitutional law and human rights, with a special focus on equality, gender, and constitutional jurisprudence.
